The San Diego saxophonist, David Hillyard, has played alongside groups such as the Hepcats, Slackers and Stubborn All-stars. Bands which will no doubt feature here at some point.
Pioneer of the American Ska scene, he has experimented with Jazz Ska. At the ripe age of 17 he was playing alongside Hepcat in what was the biggest Ska acts in the 90's.
These two jams feature David alongside The Rocksteady Seven, instrumental pieces to kick-start this Saturday.
The first track is called Old Days from their album United Front.
The second track is a cover from The Beatles popular Norwegian Wood.
